So I took my cheque (how quaint! stick out tongue) into BARCLAYS back in early April to open a Tax Beater Cash ISA as the rate was so good...

"That account's been really popular!", said the guy. "You won't receive the account details for a while, but don't worry you'll get interest from today because today's date is on the receipt."

The UK zone seems to have been struggling for servers for the last few months, so any UK servers would be gratefully welcomed. smile

This server has been in the Europe and UK zones for six months - I've been plotting graphs... big grin

So I finally got round to rate-tarting my savings account to icesave as they're offering 5.7%. "Forged by fire, honed by ice ... Pure, fresh and untarnished spaces" the glossy joining guide proclaims. Well, not if you send out that much bumpf to everyone who opens an account! doh! stick out tongue
